The role involves preparing the agendas and papers for all Governor meetings, arranging the meetings themselves and taking accurate minutes for distribution.
The core responsibility will consist of facilitating meetings of:
Full Governing Body; Resources Committee; Ethos, Curriculum and Standards Committee and Strategy Group meetings.
The Clerk will also be required to attend any Extraordinary Meetings that are called.
The hours required will be 75 per year and these will be subject to review. Additional hours will be agreed in advance.
The nature of the work requires a high level of accuracy, confidentiality and organisation, with the ability to complete work to very tight deadlines.
